Ugh. I always get annoyed when I see Winona's name spelt like that. It's not even pronounced that way.

So is this a new master then? I personally thought the blu ray looked fine, but I remember people complaining about it on here.

+1. I have the original release, but I almost bought the Beetlejuice/The Corpse Bride/Charlie and the Chocolate Factory triple feature a week ago and it even had a nice slipcover. However, after standing there for about 10 seconds I recalled just how horrible Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is and how mediocre The Corpse Bride is.

The only reason i own Corpse Bride is because the animation is gorgeous and LOOKS gorgeous in HD!

Beetlejuice on the other hand is a total classic!

The Birds - Rod Taylor's best film after The Time Machine. Sometimes I wish I lived near a large city.

Oh I hope it gets a new release with some new extras /packaging. I sold my limited one with slipcover and CD on Ebay for $45 a few months ago (only paid $10 for it too) so I need this movie again and glad I held off on the current one.

I wouldn't expect too much here, perhaps just a digibook release and maybe one new extra.

I would like to see a commentary of Tim Burton, Michael Keaten, Geena Davis, Catherine O'Hara, Alec Baldwin and Wiona Ryder. Also I would like to see some behind the scenes stuff with interviews with the cast members and maybe even deleted scenes for the 25h Anniversary re-release

Yeah, it is Warner we're talking about, who is easily the king of re-releases. I'd double dip for a digibook though or maybe a new interview with Michael Keaton and/or Alec Baldwin.

If you wanted this movie so bad, then why did you sell your copy in the first place? And now, you want to re-buy it again. You're just defeating the purpose of selling it!
