Picked up the steel yesterday. They had about 8 or 9 on the shelf.

Damn it was a pain in the ass hitting up Lakeland at 5pm...but it was worth it

Yeah, I avoid that area if I can around 4-6 pm. Lunch is not near as bad though. I just called to make sure and they said they have plenty of them.

You did all right then to get the BD only with the basic set of extras for around $14 after tax.

Hey, I charge royalties for that image.

Btw, people mistakenly use G1 for anything bigger than BD size. The BBY exclusive IS NOT G1, it's actually bigger (wider). But, I'm just being technical.

It's just bigger packaging. It's actually wider than a DVD, which is technically what G1 is.

Also, doesn't G1 specifically refer to steelbooks?

Picked up the walmart version because the extra seems most interesting. Other version seem like just few interviews and event footage while Walmart version seem like an actual "making-of" extras.
I like special packagings, but care about the actual extras more. Plus, I had gift card left over for walmart

Yep - correct.

And you should have an option in the poll for those who bought multiples.

How great of an effect do these types of exclusives have on retail sales? Is there any data available for this? I'm just curious, but too lazy to look into it.

Multiple Choice would have been nice. I got the Target SB, the BB exclusive, and i'm working on the FS SB. In May, i'll have the UK & FR SBs, as well.

Can't vote since it only allows 1. Picked up Walmart, BestBuy & Target exclusives.

Target Exclusive - Steelbook W/ Bonus Disc
I had originally wanted the Digi-Pack from Best Buy, but once I found out about G1, it was The Steelbook all the way.
