Not bad. But it does need work.

Last night I made a blu-ray Transformers cover from the HD DVD version and printed it. Looks real nice inside a blu-ray cover, though the artwork still sucks.

I have the first Transformers on blu-ray.

Ok, that is just a modified HD DVD cover I printed. I couldn't wait any longer.

Don't kill me, at least I didn't start a troll thread and told you up front! Still nice to hold in my hands, though.

That's my Species case acting as a placeholder now. It fooled my brother. :-p

Heres some hints that should help you make that cover alot better.
1st: The movie is owned by fox. Fox has the little bar at the bottom that says "1080p Beyond High Definition HD Master Audio" But you put the Sony bar that says "Experience High Definition". Removing that bar and inputing the Fox bar would make the cover look ALOT cleaner. It would also rid the cover of the "Full HD 1080p" which you don't really see on covers.

2nd: The top where the names are, should be on the cover art. And have the names spaced differently. Here is what you did:
Lena Headey Thomas Dekker Summer Glau
It should have the first and last name close together, and the next name spaced further like so:
Lena Headey Thomas Dekker Summer Glau
See? Makes sense more now.

3rd: The text that is at the bottom, in my opinion, should either be "Justified" (Which means equal on both sides. Its used in MS Word) or removed.
Just some ideas that would make it better. I hope you view my critisism as help instead of hate.

Damn I got give CCplant & dv8pdx mad props for their work. You guys should seriously send this stuff off to the movie studios and get hired doing this and get paid. Much props and I hope you guys don't stop producing these covers.

I REALLY dig the cases that aren't blu (heresy I know!) but I like the way they are following the "theme" of the movie if you will --

For some it's a tremendous no-no I know to have cases not matching, but for someone like me who doesn't mind as much, those are freakin' awesome.

Thanks man! That means a lot after seeing your work. Anyways I've decided to re-do my Indiana Jones titles and I want to share it with you guys. Everything is done from scratch!. Leather background to the silver frame to the "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" text. Oh and I also had to recreate the top of Indy's hat. It was cut off in the poster. Speaking of the poster, the one I downloaded was 2400x3552. Just huge. I had to shrink it down! So another words this cover looks amazing at full res. Hope you enjoy, I think it's a huge improvement.

Plus after I totally finished a couple of the Star Trek movies (front, back and spine). I downloaded that program "IMANDIX Cover Pro" (man I wish they made a mac version) and made up a couple of my FINISHED covers.

I'll show you the rest ones they're done. But till then I have to take a shit load of screen captures for the back covers of the "Star Trek" movies.

Has anyone made an alternate Blu-ray case for "Bonnie and Clyde"? I, for one, would prefer to keep my copy of the disc in a standard Blu-ray case than in the "coffee table book". Thanks, folks.

Here is a re-do of Clockwork Orange... just something different. Have to say the orange would sure stand out on my shelf.

I was working on Terminator series set, but Jezdvd beat me to the first one.
Here are season one (pretty much like Jezdvd's) and a future season two.

Jezdvd - if you want help or ideas with photoshop, send me a PM with your email and I will send you the photoshop file so you can break it down and see what I did different (layers, removing fox's text, rebuilding the text, skewing etc), its easy to learn, I taught myself. There are a lot of great artists here and if I can help with photoshop just even a little, we should see some amazing work!

Wow those covers are awsome Dv8pdx!!! I love the Sahar Connor series and I hope to hell it has a good run. Can't wait to see those on Blu.
