For me a database who include DVD/blu-ray unrelease without even a street date given by a distributor is unreliable. I don't say 100% unreliable, but the fact it users built bring a part of uncertainty. It isn't different than when Don't Go in the Woods was added in the database here as a future blu-ray release when the label owner himself had said it won't happen (now it isn't listed but it was there for a while).

The difference is that here anyone can upload a listing for anything without it being looked into or even double-checked, but the admins at DVDAf won't let you just arbitrarily upload or edit a listing. You can't even submit a new listing without cover art.

In that case how do you explain by exemple the presence of those titles in the database? None of them are release, available for pre-order or announced as coming soon by the label

Night Warning, Family Honor, Gang Wars, Gone with the Pope, The Photographer, Wild Zero, etc.

Not the end of the world but I wouldn't call them "extremely reliable" as you wrote if you can enter a title with no source except rumours or the precense of a trailer on a disc. They aren't more or less reliable than any other online database.

They have listings for 'Films' as well as BD and DVD, the titles you listed are clearly marked as 'Films' and not BDs or DVDs if you enter them in their system. They make no claim that the 'Film' listings will receive any BD or DVD release. So, yes, as I said, they are reliable.

Uh oh! Looks like most of the MGM catalog is disappearing off Netflix on May 1st (aka, about half of my queue).

Shout Factory, please, please, release a blu-ray of Modern Girls! Also Spellbinder, The Immortalizer, and New Year's Evil. Netflix will no longer be able to tide me over on these.

I will die happy if we get spellbinder on bd! kick ass new cover art and special features. I doubt Kelly Preston will be included in any special features. Just as long as Tim Daly is a part of it.

I own a vhs copy with sleeve in mint condition .

Of course the big one for me that hasnt gotten any release here is still Without Warning but I think that will change sooner or later.
I will suggest to you if there are titles you are looking for is to contact the owners as some of our peers have mentioned - Echo Bridge, Hens Tooth via email or if they have a Facebook page. A lot of us suggest titles to Scream Factory on their FB page and then we find out who owns it, etc..
Hope this helps
Where is this? Been on their site and Googled Horror Show blu ray....nothing on either?

And by "Any chance", we mean, just how hard IS it to get the Empire Pictures-era Charles Band films, is that why it's been so difficult to get Sword & the Sorcerer, and/or why there's been "no interest", quote-fingers, in Dolls?
(But if we can at least get Zone Troopers or The Dungeonmaster, that's some small compensation.)

Modern Girls is literally at the top of my 'most wanted on Blu-ray' list.

Cliff, what do we have to do to make this happen!!

If it isn't feasible for a standalone release, how about a double feature with Valley Girl? Two movies that have 'girl' in the name is a surefire hit!

If not that... what about a Shout Select release at a premium price? I think you might be surprised by the sales.

The regular Shout Factory thread is currently floating around the netherworld, just like Frightener22's very useful release calendar thread which I can't find and don't know how to search for. I'd like to nominate them both for "sticky" status.

Like cine74 said, the regular Shout thread seems to get no love

Just One Of The Guys would be excellent, but it is a Sony (Columbia Tri-star) title.

Like you said, not Scream Factory related, but I'd die to have "Just One of the Guys" on Blu-ray. Hands down one of my favorite comedies, sadly I think it's with Sony which means no special features could be made for it. If anything, it's more likely to end up with Twilight Time or something. Great flick regardless though.

Really happy to see all the love for Just One Of The Guys,it really is a great movie. Its sort of like a shakespeare play the way everyone and everything comes together at the end to sort everything out.Great stuff.I'd love features but i would still buy JOOTG from TT.

Also agree with Cine74 the Shout Factory thread needs to be made a sticky.Shout release so much great stuff and i think some don't realise theres a difference between the two.
