I think the extra cost of a seperate production lines in the end did not justify it. Plus, it'd be hard to get 20GB drives in bulk.

I think the HDD space will be a revolving one. As soon as the top end 2.5" SATA becomes cheaper, 60GB will be the lower end, then 80GB then 100GB and so forth.

Regardless, this is good for consumers since they know that it is good for them.
