+1 on the Olive releases. I think Criterion has both the Brood and Scanners which to me could be Halloween releases from them since they do not do that many horror titles during the course of the year.
I think even the SF rep on FB said they have them.
Im really looking forward to that Vincent Price set more than anything at the moment...

***SURPRISE ANNOUNCEMENT!***

1982's "Q" is coming to Blu!

Plan on it landing in August. More details to follow in the next few months but in the meantime, feast your eyes on the official key art (which stays faithful to the original theatrical key art, of course!)

"Q" was an Anchor Bay title, later rereleased by Blue Underground, and I believe that BU made an abortive blu-ray release announcement. Hope this portends cracking into the vaults at either/both for future SF releases.

doesnt anyone have any idea if Motel Hell has been thrown around as a possible release in the future?

Im planning on ordering the UK Arrow bluray but if theres a US release coming, id just wait for that. Was originally going to order the Arrow Knightriders blu but then Shout announced it so im waiting for theirs.

Yeah thinking about what this could mean for other former Anchor Bay titles is very exciting.

Cautious excitement, but excitement none the less.

Wow, most unexpected and exciting! I've been clamoring for that promised BU BD of Q for years! Great original art and, of course, potentially opens up massive floodgates with BU titles. Cue the beginning of literally every Blue Underground DVD ever released being listed in this thread... Of course, God Told me To and Deathdream would be near the top of my wishlist.

What about these movies for Shout/Scream?
John Carpenter's Body Bags 1993 (Uncut)
Sleepaway Camp 1983 (Uncut)
Paperhouse 1988
Mindwarp 1992 (Uncut)
Watchers 1988
Children of the Night 1991
The Midnight Hour 1985
Gleaming the Cube 1989
My Demon Lover 1987
Miracle Beach 1992 (Uncut)
The First Power 1990
The Punisher 1989 (Uncut)
Class of 1999 2: The Substitute 1994
Avenging Force 1986

Sleepaway Camp 2 & 3 were shot down, but I would still love to see the trilogy in a set like the Slumber Party Massacre trilogy.

American Ninja 1 & 2 were shot down as well, but I would still love to see these movies in a 4 movie collection with American Samurai (Uncut) and Avenging Force. All Cannon Films I do believe.

No Retreat No Surrender was shot down, but i would still love to see all 5 movies in a collection: No Retreat No Surrender (US cut), No Retreat No Surrender 2: Raging Thunder (US cut), No Retreat No Surrender 3: Blood Brothers (Uncut), No Retreat No Surrender 4: King of the Kickboxers (Uncut), and No Retreat No Surrender 5: American Shaolin (Uncut).

How about some of the other Sho Kosugi movies like Revenge of the Ninja and Pray for Death (Uncut)?

How about some of the old Cynthia Rothrock, Billy Blanks, and Don "The Dragon" Wilson kung fu flicks?

What's the deal with Fright Night 2? Who has the rights to it, and why has it not been given a proper release? Btw Sony needs to get to work on a special edition of the original as well.

Any early reviews for The Burning yet?

Also, I'd be all in for Gleaming The Cube, Sleepaway Camp 1-3 and Revenge Of The Ninja. These movies saw alot of rentals at the video store from me as a kid!

It has fantasy elements, but is primarily horror. One of Larry Cohen's best.

And while Scream's dipping into Anchor Bay, Larry Cohen and Michael Moriarty, that leaves just one question:
