As much as I love this show and all these kinds of shows, how on earth do they expect people to pay £36 for one series?!

That's a ridiculous price. I wouldn't pay much more than that for all of the series whenever they do a big box set. Yeah, I'll pass till they're all out and on sale or something.

For me single releases should be between £8 - £15, TV boxsets (or big film boxsets) £15-28. Prices do seem to have crept up in this past year.

You're getting the equivalent running time of a whole bunch of movies in HD for the cost of four cinema tickets and still complaining about the cost as being "ridiculous"!

Has anyone noticed the audio is out of sync on some of the episodes ?

Episodes 6 & 7 seem to have the worse lip sync so far from what i've seen.

Yes, have seen the same here - my lipsync is accurately dialled in and with these discs I am forced to add over 80ms of adjustment to try and compensate...

These discs are badly mastered and should be replaced by the content provider.

How can they release an error like this and isn't it the same as the US release since they both are from paramount?
Thats just an embarrasment this need to get fixed. So this is not even the same PQ and AQ as the US release ?

I've just sent Paramount an email about this as they distribute the disc here. Couldn't find any contact info for Showtime.

Hopefully Paramount have something to say.

Did you get a reply from them. Or are others having the same problem. Both the UK and US sets are from paramount so shouldn't they be the same transfers and i haven't heard any complaints from the US set?
This is really weird if there is an error on the UK set

The UK sets are authored differently for season seven if the info is correct, since they split the extras and episodes onto all four of the discs. Usually, the UK sets have the same encodes as the US three-disc sets (with audio and subtitle variations), and then the extras are all on Disc 4.

These Dexter sets are ridiculously priced, and to hear they have syncing issues just takes the cake. Holding out to see what they do for a complete set and hoping they fix these issues. Love the show but not enough to pay £35 for a badly mastered season

Entertainment Store were doing Seasons 1-7 for £13.49 each recently, so I picked up S7. Sadly the lipsync issue is still evident.....and yes, it really is that bad!
