Aip (american international pictures) classics getting remakes!!

American International Pictures has just announced that they plan to remake some of their classic movies...

Jeff Katz, Lou Arkoff, and Hal Sadoff are teaming up to make these remakes they plan to shoot them all back to back this fall....

The movies being remade are:

1Viking Woman and the Sea Serpent
2)The Brain Eaters
3)She-Creature
4)Teenage Caveman
5)Runaway Daughters
6)The Undead
7)War of the Colossal Beast
8)Cool and the Crazy
9)Day The World Ended

I have never heard of AIC, nor a single one of the pictures you mentioned.

I'm also hugely in favor or remakes. Remake everything for all I care, so bring 'em on.

The memo's been around from '99, when the William Castle estate created Dark Castle to do the Haunted Hill and 13 Ghosts "remakes", and...then pretty much gave up.

So, this isn't going to be like those cheap 90's deliberately off-title "remakes" for Showtime, where Teenage Caveman was post-apocalyptic from the beginning, "Earth Vs. the Spider" was a Spiderman-fan teen, "How to Make a Monster" was a videogame programmer, and "She Creature" was a killer mermaid?
And WHAT the flippin' heck was up with those anyway?

I'd rather see some AIP (Action International Pictures) movies hitting blu-ray, like Elves, Savage Lust, Savage Instinct, Demon Possessed, etc.
