United Kingdom Robot & Frank - July 15th, 2013

Robot & Frank Blu-ray PRE-ORDER

Entertainment One/Momentum Pictures will be bringing Jake Schreier's 'Robot & Frank' to Blu-ray in the UK and Ireland on July 15th, 2013.

Robot & Frank is a 2012 American film directed by Jake Schreier and written by Christopher Ford. Set in the near future, it focuses on Frank, an aging jewel thief played by Frank Langella, whose son buys him a domestic robot. Resistant at first, Frank warms up to the robot when he realizes he can use it to restart his career as a cat burglar. It was the first feature film for both Ford and Schreier and received critical acclaim for its writing, production, and acting. It won the Alfred P. Sloan Prize at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival.

The film also co-stars Susan Sarandon, James Marsden and Liv Tyler.

"Friendship doesn't have an off switch"

No. But it needs a shit-load of AAAs.

This looks pretty good. Frank Langella is always top-notch, he was a pretty good Dracula too!

Great news! I was worried this might only get a DVD release here.

Did they announce the extra features?
Hopefully the audio commentary is included.

Companies tend not to announce bonus features, they just stick the info up on Sainsbury's and we assume it's correct. And according to Sainsbury's this has audio commentary, an interview and the trailer...

Has anyone received this early?
Is it in the correct ratio?
Does it have a slipcase?
Thanks!

I'm angry they cancelled the UK blu-ray of Bernie. First of all it's taken a year or two to get over here in the cinemas and now it's only available on DVD!

Might give this one a go, wish I'd pre-ordered at £8.50 now!

Absolutely fantastic Sci-Fi film. Clever, brilliantly acted, funny and touching.

Langella is amazing.

Nicely embossed and glossy Slipcover. Not sure if I'm digging the odd banner.
