That was a Netflix rental for me. I would rate the PQ as a Tier 2. There were some sharp scenes, but there was some soft and grainy ones as well. I think some of that an intentional choice of the director. A lot of the movie is rather dark as well. I usually take 20-30 screenshots of a movie and then choose 5-8 of the best ones to post, so what I post may not be representative of the movie as a whole. As far as the movie story and characterization is concerned -- it was okay, but there were a few laughably bad parts. Definitely a rental (at least for me). I'm not a huge fan of zombie movies, so maybe that's why it didn't excite me very much.

Bummer. I will rent, I need to cut down on the spending anyway. Thanks in advance though.

Hey love the thread guys! But I have one minor suggestion just from observing. It didn't personally happen to me but maybe you guys shouldn't be posting any pics that might be considered spoilerish. Kind of realized that after seeing the We Own the Night set. Just a suggestion.

Lissi and the Wild Emperor
BD on Samsung LCD with camera

*This is one of my first times trying this so I apologise for the poor quality. It was originally much higher in resolution but Photobucket resized it. Is there anyway to retain the original resolution during the upload?

How did you guys with Plasmas and LCDs take straight shots? I have a dark room with no overhead lighting, so I have to use flash.

Suggestion taken, I will refrain from doing it. Maybe should be a rule in the OP as well?

I'd give Hairspray 5/5 PQ referance material.. just my .02. on top of that the movie isn't really all that bad.. pretty entertaining.

Going to take pics of I AM LEGEND - RATATOUILLE tonight..

Just a tip for those wanting to view a particular movie . . . On the first post of this thread there are "quick links" to all of the movies posted. That should save a lot of time if you're trying to find a specific movie.
