It is indeed worth mentioning, considering they've brought out the 5 disc set with the black cover.

I watched The Movie and Superman II the other night on DVD. They're two fantastic films.

Finger crossed Man Of Steel is better than those 2, that will mean it's one of the greatest movies ever made in my book.

Anything else decent in Blockbusters?

They only had two of them there. Was almost tempted to pick another one up for some sort of trade, but left it in the end.

Can't wait for the 'Man of Steel'.

Nothing really worth mentioning apart from said item really. I bought a few things (taking advantage of the deal), but only gap fillers really.

Such a great set for a bargain price. Even if you don't like the third and fourth movies. The wealth of extras is extensive - the "Look up in the sky" doc, the Fleischer cartoons, the George Reeves movie, the TV pilot etc.

Golden.

I can't remember how much I paid for this on release day but I considered it worth it then. It's definitely worth £20 now.

I think it's OOP now unless you want to spend £30+ on it. Sanisburys had them recently but a lot of stores are going over to the 5 disc set.

I wonder if a new set is in the works? Although if so I would have expected it to have been released now in conjunction with Man of Steel at the cinema. However I remember the Star Trek Movie box set went OOP around Christmas '12 and has now been replaced with the Stardate Collection.
