So Disney has Oliver & Company, The Sword in the Stone, Robin Hood, and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh all hitting Blu-Ray in August? Not bad!

Wow. Disney won't have many animated films left to release after this year! Just Make Mine Music, Fun and Fancy Free, Melody Time, 3 Cabilleros, Saludos Amigos, and Adventures of Ichobad and Mr. Toad, I believe.

Excellent news, I have to admit, I really love this one, even if it's not "top-flight" Disney. Merlin was a fabulous character.

This and Robin Hood were 2 of my most wanted. Very happy. If they finally get around to a blu release Of Ichabod & Mr. Toad, then I will be ecstatic.

Not one of my favorites (I don't remember much), but still I will get it as part of my collection. I might even buy Hercules and Lilo & Stitch when they are released to complete my Disney Animated BD collection (though the thought of Brother Bear & Home on the Range make me ). Nice set of August releases .

YAAAYYY!

Definitely not one of the greatest Disney classics, but I do think it's the funniest from the Walt era!
And the Wizard's Duel is among my all time favorite scenes!!

On their official list, I don't think we've seen U.S. street dates for Hercules, The Black Cauldron, 101 Dalmatians, Tarzan and the films you mentioned above.

I'll still be waiting for Victory Through Air Power and The Reluctant Dragon, Ward Kimball's "Space" trilogy, and, of course, the shorts.

I'm hoping that Disney will upgrade some of their fine live-action films to Blu-ray in the future. 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, The Swiss Family Robinson, The Black Hole, Something Wicked This Way Comes, etc. Even Old Yeller, although that one makes me sad.

+1. I've been wanting 20,000 Leagues and The Black Hole for a while.

When I was a little boy, I was so frustrated and confused by the fact that Madam Mim wouldn't just walk around in her 60's supermodel form at all times.

Definitely one of the more memorable Disney villains from my youth, though I'm not quite sure if she could hold her own against the Big Four of female Disney villains: Maleficent, Cruella, Ursula, and Snow White's Queen.
