Whats the best headset? - Blu-ray Forum

I'm just going to start out wiht online gaming on my PS3 and I'd like a recommendation on a good headset. Also is there an official Sony PS3 branded headset? Thanks very much.

It isn't Sony brand, but it works with the PS3. I'm against buying third-party accessories, but what you see is what you get.

best ones are bluetooth headsets you hook up to your phone. i.e. Motorola or Jabra (also in Warhawk bundle).

It now makes sense that any Bluetooth headset would work with the PS3. Stupid thinking by me right there. I'm in the market for one, as the OP reminded me that I do need it for my online gaming purposes.

I've been told the PSEye makes an awesome mic - great noise cancellation and you don't have to worry about wearing an earpiece (can use surround system). I've bought one for this. Has other uses too.

yeah i would go with a blue tooth....because it works with your cell phone...and ps3...

I have a Logitech USB headset and it does the job fine!

I have plenty of cable and it never gets in the way. Also never needs chargeing and you can use it as headphones for music!

Cheap too!

I use the jabra that came with Warhawk. Never had a problem with it yet. I used a motorola one before (forgot model #) and it always droped on me and I always had to re-pair it.

Just about any blutooth headset that you get for free these days with the purchase of a cell phone will work on the ps3...

I love my Jawbone. They are wicked popular too, I am amazed how few people seem to talk about them on here...

the best headset is going to be the one that you find and deem the best. i use a plantronic 510.
