Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't the fact that this is a bluray forum on a bluray site indicate it's visited by and used by people who own or who are close to buying bluray?

Why would someone posting in bluray specific forums make that "only on bluray" comment?

I'm baffled.

Is it bad that I haven't seen ANY of these documentaries, being a slasher fan and all?

Nah! I didn't see Never Sleep Again till two months ago.

Sometimes we focus on releases of movies that low-key documentary releases slip by.

I'm with you. I finally ordered it like last June. I still haven't seen the big RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD one out there.

I thought the Halloween one and His Name Was Jason were just far too short.

I gotta think these guys are going to do their own crazy long HALLOWEEN one next right??

There is a guy working on a Halloween book equivelent to Crystal Lake Memories at the moment. I follow him on Facebook and he regularly updates who he has interviewed. I don't think it's published until late 2014 though.

Yeah, I saw that and responded to it (post #63) but I didn't read Noir Fans post as a joke - suppose you could read it both ways.

I asked Daniel Farrands....the man behind the Crystal Lake Memories doc. and he said it will absolutely 100% be available thru Amazon. And if you order it through the crystallakememories.net site, it will come with a bonus item.

I also asked about retail stores and he said to make sure, fans should ask them for it and tell stores we want it carried at Walmart, Best Buy, etc.

But he said 100% positive through Amazon.

Wow! I'm not a huge F13 fan, but I think I might have to get this!

I wonder what the "bonus item" is if you order through the website?

My favorite horror franchise by far, definitely looking forward to this documentary!! I actually thought that His Name was Jason was pretty decent but some stuff could have been talked about more. Curious as to what the bonus item is for ordering it from the Crystal Lake Memories web site.
