Exclamation Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem Blu-ray Disc Review

http://dvd.themanroom.com/dvd-review.php?id=597

I hope that Fox re-encodes AVP-1 with MPEG-4 AVC like they did for the trailer.

for the first or second??? I always though the 1st one's are looked pretty bad. The second one's is pretty decent but I'll replace the 1st with an awesome custom I have from Either Kylumi or Highdefjoe and I'm hoping to find a good matching one for the second as well Either that Or it'll be my next 2 customs. I really hate that banner across the top spouting off about the digital copy, totally ruins it for me. Customs all the way once I get them.

OMG. I don't believe it.

"Sorely missing are deleted scenes such as Kelly firing a massive vehicle mounted 50 caliber cannon at encroaching Aliens and the remainder of that cut action sequence, as seen briefly in the Red Band trailer."

What the ****?

Dunno. More likely it will be one of these scenes lost forever. Like the uncut Resident Evil Paul WS Andersen promised but never delivered.

Damn it, you don't know how much that ticks me off. This should have been in the film.

Wow, they got it pretty early. Good to see that they thought the PQ/SQ is good. I wanted to see this at the theater but missed it so I'm definitely looking forward to checking out the blu-ray.

Their rating on PQ/SQ:

PQ 9.4
SQ 9.5

Yeah, it could go either way, but if Fox goes through with a third movie as rumored, they may take the effort to double dip to promote the new movie.

Giving the movie itself 6.2 was alittle generous lol. But I am a sucker for all things Alien and Predator.

Aliens vs. Predator Sequel Rumblings at Fox
March 10, 2008

An anonymous source over at 20th Century Fox got in touch with us over the weekend to relay the news another Aliens vs. Predator sequel is a "certainty" at this point. If you recall, the brothers Strause - who helmed the Christmas release Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem - stated Fox was going to take a "wait-and-see" approach to a third chapter, furthermore, that the story would have to continue in space (details). "AvP-R" grossed a worldwide total of $128.8 million; $41 million domestically. It hits DVD on April 15th (specs and art). No word yet if the Strause brothers will return to the franchise.

Hmm, I guess those figures are nothing to laugh at. And when the digital media releases hit, probably double that. So it is a possibility.
