I think Cliff has said before that they wouldn't return his calls.
No, they return calls. They just aren't interested in licensing films out.

Shout Factory (Scream Factory's Mommy) released Bad Dreams in a DVD Killer Double Feature with Visiting Hours on DVD, so they have the rights but possibly the master wasn't good enough for a Blu release

[Show spoiler]
Visiting Hours / Bad Dreams.
I would love that. I missed the DVD, and by the time I figured out that I had missed it I decided to wait for a possible Blu-Ray re-release, since Scream Factory is obviously a success. I know a couple people who did the same.

With the re-release of Race with the Devil / Dirty Mary, Crazy Larry, I was hoping we would see it eventually. There can never be enough Slashers on BD! I am still hoping we see Slumber Party Massacre Collection hit Blu too.

Yeah, I'm still holding out for Bad Dreams on blu-ray, too. Maybe Cliff can confirm if there's a chance?

As for the Slumber Party Massacre collection-I'd really love to see the first on BD (the sequels, not so much ). Supposedly (I think) it's been shot down because the source elements aren't good enough...

Cliff I know it's not a horror title as such but is there any chance of Shout acquiring Night of the Juggler? I was under the impression that it lay with Sony/Columbia but I don't think that's the case anymore. That's one I'm desperate to see on DVD, never mind Blu-ray. Unfortunately I think they still have 1974's Open Season with Peter Fonda and Richard Lynch. Would be a great fit for the line, and it's unreleased on DVD (outside of a horrible cut German release). Would make a perfect double-feature with 1980's Wolf Lake with Rod Steiger, which is again unreleased on DVD. I've no idea who owns the rights to that one.

what would give you that idea? i think most of us understand that it take quite alot of effort and work to get some of these boutique titles out on blu ray. if you feel confident in your work then you shouldnt let a compliment to another company offend you. just responding gives me the feeling that you feel like there is truth to the comment that poster made. im looking forward to your blu rays but it is nice to have titles announced and then released in less then 6 months. not everyone has the resources a shout facotry might have and its nothing to be ashamed of.

Going back to my prediction, which is now several posts back lol, I've noticed that Arrow and Scream Factory seem to be releasing much of the same movies. Sometimes Arrow announces something first, then SF, sometimes it's the other way around. Example: Arrow announced a release of Knightriders and then within..what was it...a month or so, Shout Factory announced their release of Knightriders. Example 2: Scream Factory has a release of Lifeforce on its way, and what happened in Arrow's most recent lineup announcement? Lifeforce was tucked away in there. So my reasoning is that it's almost like they're working together (although they're probably not) to bring certain films to fans on both sides of the pond. One company announces a movie, and then bam, the other follows. Thusly, I'm sure at some point that SF will release Motel Hell, Deranged and Squirm. And I hope they do.

Also, not everyone has a region-free player so thanks, I'll keep hoping that Scream does release certain movies that Arrow will be releasing. Otherwise, those fans in North America lose out.

I just think that the people behind both companies love and know others who love these films.

Didn't you hear? Synapse is planning to do Basket Case 2&3 sometime... maybe next year.

From an email I got yesterday:

We are thinking about doing a BC 2 & 3 double feature! Maybe next year.
