Ohhh, I see. I'm from America so I wasn't quite sure how play.com works since they don't ship over here.

Pitch Black arrived today in the old packaging. The disc was rattling around but thankfully everything is in good shape, both inside and out! Whew!

He would have likely lost money that way too. The stock market as a pyramid scheme will become more apparent as more and more babyboomers retire.

Does anybody know how long it normally takes for Zavvi to get back to you about an exchange/refund? A couple of days ago my latest order of steelbooks arrived and one of them came with a massive dent. It was in one of the nice white boxes with foam too and the box itself looked fine. Sent them an email through their ridiculously complicated message system and still haven't heard back. This was Monday or Tuesday. Also how is their service with exchanges and the such? Do you lose out on shipping costs? Anybody have any experiences?

Sorry if it's been answered before. I'd go through the thread for an answer but it's getting quite long now.

Can you not just dispute it through PayPal (assuming you used PayPal)?

You pay return postage on the item. Annoying them enough about it might get you the shipping costs refunded or even the replacement sent out without you having to send the other one back (sometimes).

Can dispute it through Paypal if you used it but they do eventually reply to the message through the message system.

I'll be doing that early next week if they still don't get back to me. I opted not to do this straight away and go through them directly since I just want to exchange it for one that isn't broken.

That's not too bad... I guess. I think the return postage will be about 10 Pounds or so, add that to what I paid and it's still cheaper than Amazon. I'm more worried that this will turn into some long drawn out affair. I just want my Demons steelbook!

I'm already prepping another order with them too. Curse their ridiculously low prices and ridiculously cheap and (since my last two orders) fast shipping. Guess that'll have to tide me over.

Does Zavvi ship order early for preorders by any chance? Is any different for those ordering from the US?

Yay, I got my first 2 steels ever ordered from overseas in - Life of Pi and Man on Fire - and thankfully both arrived damage free, at least from shipping - Life has a decent nick on the side where it opens but nothing too bad. Only took a week and both play in my PS3

I have yet to receive any orders from Zavvi, but from what I've read they do not. Only Amazon does, via a loophole in local tax laws.
