Default Used Cars (1980) (Limited Edition to 3,000) - SOLD OUT

PRE-ORDER http://www2.screenarchives.com/title...SED-CARS-1980/

Quote:
Special Features: Isolated Score Track #1 (The Film Score) / Isolated Score Track #2 (The Unused Score) / Audio Commentary with Director Robert Zemeckis, Writer Bob Gale, and Actor Kurt Russell / Outtakes / Radio and TV Promotional Materials / Vintage Advertising Gallery / Other Features TBD / Trailers

Quote:
Like new, great looking and fully loaded with laughs.

Jack Warden is brilliant in a double role as two feuding brothers Luke and Roy L. Fuchs, who own competing car lots and are trying to drive each other out of business. Rudy Russo (Kurt Russell) is Luke's ace salesman, a charming and conniving cheat and liar who is merely in training for his true ambition - politics. In one of Rudy's most outrageous advertising ploys, he hires a model (Penthouse Pet of the Year Cheryl Rixon) to strip on television, and the all wind up in a crazy automobile stampede involving 200 vintage cars in a high-speed chase that becomes a free-for-all demolition derby.

I remember watching this over and over when I was a kid in middle school. I will definitely be ordering. Hope it still holds up after all these years.

Wow, it appears Ron Epstein just accused you of not giving HTF credit for your post even though you linked to their site as being the source.

Let's see, you posted this at 10:11AM (according to my time), with no edits to the post, and his response on HTF was at 10:36 AM.

Yep, at this stage there are only two choices: either purchase it from TT or wait for a potential Sony international release.

I wish we could just banish all the ... "why only 3,000 Why Did Sony give this..." etc etc etc and just delete the posts They are annoying and if people on the forums don't know TT releases by now they need to be sent to the main TT Page for information. Every single TT release has nothing but these typical BORED! posts.

and NO it won't sell out for months after the release.

Great film. Never lets up with the gags, Kurt Russell is excellent and so's Jack Warden.

Why not simply post exactly where the info came from instead of a tiny little link at the top of the post that is easy to miss such as....

Credit to HTF who just reported the news that Used Cars will be released by TT in April of '14.

I agree it could have been more visible but only Akijama can state the reasoning for doing so. But on the flip side why not take the time to look at the entire post instead of a quick glance before making an assumption.

Interesting news none the less and HTF got the credit and potential visibility for those not previously familiar with HTF.

I just happy we're getting this.

I went to a Q&A with Bob Gale and part of the cast, as part of a promotion for the release of the film's full score last year. - They used an archival print from Zemeckis' private collection that was in great shape. - When asked about a Blu-ray disc, they weren't even sure if the film would get released, Gale and Zemeckis had already asked Sony, and they said no.

That's OK, dude can't even tell when a receiver lights up indicating a 5.1 score and will blast a release for not containing a 5.1 mix as promised. (Long old story...) Not being able to read is not a surprise.
