They are just plate stands. I got mine from my local Walmart in the picture frame section for $2.50 each.

How many of you guys keep your steels in plastic sleeves? I've been back and forth on it. I like the scratch protection they give but it's annoying having to take it off whenever I want to watch one of the movies.

Keep all of mine in plastic sleeves, only open on the spine. Taking it out the sleeve is just the same as taking it out of a slipcover really. Also makes it seem special lol.

I assume you have rigid plastic sleeves? What I use is more like a fitted plastic bag really, it goes over the top. Any chance you know where I could get some of the side opening ones you speak of?

Figured I would put up a pic of my comic book movie collection thus far. This is on the shelf that is above my TV in the front of the room...those speakers up there are my height speakers in my 7.1 setup.

Here is my Marvel collection.

Here is my DC collection.

Here's my humble entry into collecting steelbooks. I am waiting on about 20+ from Europe, as well as Asia...so this setup is temporary until i build a new shelf. This shelf was built out of solid oak, and the SBs are sitting on those little $1 Wal-Mart picture stands, until i can give them a better place. With BoB and The Pacific being the only exceptions, all the SBs are still factory sealed.

Why do they have to be in alphabetical order? I have mine arranged many ways. One row, I will have all Tom Cruise movies, another row will be all Will Smith movies.. Then I have the Superhero movie row... Top shelves are usually for the movies I like and all the Disney ones are together on another row.. An organized mess I guess lol...

What I wanted to say was that I have no problem with a SteelBook collection not being mixed in with the rest of the Blus but they should still be kept alphabetical. They don't need to to be mixed in with the regular. Either all seperate but still in alphabetical order with the other cases or all SteelBooks together and in alphabetical. Same with Digibooks.
So, if you have the Hobbit and the Lord of the Ring movies, you wouldn't put them next to each other? Now, that would bug me!!!
