Yeah... M$ thinks the same. That's why they back HD DVD imho.
About a year ago, the HD DVD was almost dead. For sure. Then M$ joined...

It won't take long. However, as far as I'm concerned, the networks now just aren't ready to stream 1080p signals on-demand to everybody in the developed world. So it will take some time first...
And I'm not so sure if it'll be that successful at first. People want to own the movie. It won't be the same...

Cant say I'd enjoy paying for a download of a movie.
I like the cover art.. owning the disc and stareing at my collection for hours on end!!
