Yay for me in that case. They are two of my favorites...
I would love both of those along with better editions of Escape from new York and The Thing to add to their Carpenter releases.

Universal wouldn't dare part with The Thing. They know they're sitting on a goldmine.

I hope Amazon will price match. I've just submitted this cheaper price to them.

Unfortunately Amazon doesn't seem to price match B&N. FYI, The Town That Dreaded Sundown is only $16.

I don't get it
I don't generally care, with a few exceptions. Every Disney movie I have has a slipcover so anything I got that didn't have one would feel... wrong. Like a freak

Nice! I've got 'em all except The Island and The Vampire Lovers.

Just received The Burning and Town That Dreaded Sundown today!

Has anyone ordered Funhouse from Amazon recently? Curious to know if it's still coming with slip...

The Vampire Lovers is one of my favorites and I really love the original cover art Scream chose to use. I still can't believe I own The Town That Dreaded Sundown on Blu-ray. Thats the real prize of the Scream collection.

As Cliff has said before the slips aren't limited so any of the collector's editions should come with slip as long as you're buying it new.

I bought Phantasm II and From Beyond new from Barnes and Noble and that didn't have slip covers. I'm still kicking my self for buying them without them.

I normally toss slipcovers, but the Scream ones do look great all lined up in a row.

Locked'em both in on day one for $13.98... So weird how Amazon's prices fluctuate by just a few cents these days.
