Little Miss Sunshine- $8 million cost/$60 million gross
Appeal- Arthouse crowd

Meet the Spartans- Production Budget- Probably about the same, maybe less since it looked like a bad BBC production for the most part
Gross- $40 million
Appeal- Horny stupid teenage boys who are far more likely to own a PS3, and if it follows its bretheren of "parody" movies that were written in an afternoon will do another $60-100 million in rentals and sales

Start to see the logic now?

You're also going to see just about every new release this year come out on Blu, unlike when LMS came out.

I will not pay $27.95 for this movie. But it is good to see it available on blu-ray for those who wish to purchase it. Fox is releasing a lot of titles.

I was hoping they wouldn't release this at all on Blu. I haven't seen this film and never will (even if it was free). Apparently it's worse than Epic Move! I've seen Epic Movie. It's the biggest pile of crap I've ever seen and if this is even worse than that

After Date Movie you couldn't even make me rent this. I watched about five minutes of Epic Movie and that was enough.

There's people in deepest Russia that have never seen a film before. They still don't wanna see Meet The Spartans, though...

But will the unrated version actually be funny?

Yeah, I didn't think so either.

This was the worst movie I have ever seen. And I have watched 'Teletubbies Watch the Grass Grow'. I think that says a lot.

I still don't get why this gets an Unrated Cut and LFODH didn't. Nice work Fox.

They keep making these movies, so someone must be watching this nonsense. Todays youth has way too much money.

It truly sucks that Meet the Spartans will be released on BD before other Fox titles such as Alien, Xmen 1 and 2, Planet of the Apes, etc.
