Did anybody order this? I need to know how is PQ as compared to the Kino release?

Do you own both versions? Can you confirm if they're identical? I, personally, wasn't that pleased with the PQ for the UK release. I bought the UK release because it contains more special features (including an audio commentary) however it appeared to me that some heavy DNR was applied.

Maybe it was just me but I can't find any info or comparisons to the Kino release anywhere and wanted to get a definitive answer from someone who owns both.

The presentation is very, very strong.

Something looked bizarre to me... Especially about our leading lady. Her face looked kind of waxy to me when I viewed it. I'm generally not so ignorant about this and can easily tell the difference but something looked "off" to me. Honestly, I ended up turning it off after like 50 minutes because I was finding whatever it was, distracting. Shame too because I was loving the actual movie.

That would be awesome if you could put up a review for Arrow's release Pro-B. I think I'll wait for that and then give it another go.

Honestly, it wasn't a great time in my life and I wasn't sleeping particularly well... maybe it was just sleep deprivation making me coco loco... haha

In any event, if it's an excellent disc, I'll be really pleased to not have to buy the Kino release too just to get the good special features and a good transfer.

I didn't notice anything wrong with it, certainly nothing that would make me turn it off anyway.

It's a fine release, and an even finer film.

I still didnt buy it and its in my "Wish List". So is this UK release has more extra features than the US Kino release other than the Audio commentary?

doubt it. i own the UK release since a while. but i cannot check out bitrates and such stuff ;( (no bdrom )
