UK - Texas Chainsaw 3D
Glossy - No embossing

Picked it up this morning. Just watching it now. Really good film. Enjoying it. A word of warning for people though. The 7.1DTS HD MA track peaks at 7 Mbps in one scene. 5.5 Mbps throughout. This produces a really good soundtrack with good action from the sub.

Also before the film is a new DTS HD MA 7.1 trailer. Oh yeah, that shakes the room. Beware.

Watched this yesterday evening. Movie was pretty lame but the 3D was absolutely fantastic. Really strong with tons of depth, i was really pleased with this. Also the converted footage from the original TCM at the beginning looked great too.

So the UK is uncut?? Does it have all the scenes missing from the US Blu-Ray that were only on the Digi copy or whatever it was.

Comparison here:

I think the 3D + 2D version is cut because when leatherface peels the cops face off it cuts to a shot of leatherface before he completely removes it.

Also when watching the 2d version on the 3d Blu i noticed a strange red tint on the corners of the picture in the darker scenes.

So you're confirming the 2D only is uncut but the 2D/3D is cut and the 2D option on the 2D/3D has inferior PQ to the 2D only??

Er, probably because its awful. I saw in a packed theatre and people were laughing out loud and groaning all the time.
I enjoyed the experience but it really was bad.

The line "Do your thing Cuz" just summed it all up - that got the biggest laugh of the night.

I dont know if the red tint is on the 2D only blu as i dont own it. Someone did a comparison on the UK 2D version and they say it IS the unrated.

Im getting rid of the 3D blu and going for the 2D.

EDIT: I see at the bottom, there are some user comments that the UK 3D BD may be uncut, but they sound suspicious at best.

I mean the person used movie-censorship.com to compare their 2D version. Someone on a discussion on Amazon.co.uk said its unrated.

both 2D and 2d/3D are are the R rated version.
when you compare then side by side with bluray and download on a pc the difference are very slight and easy to miss if you just going by screen shots and text comments

no, but the BBFC website lists one cut of the movie not 2
2 would be listed if the 2D was unrated as it is 5 seconds longer with alternative frames

But didn't we get the unrated cut in cinemas here? Looking at movie-censorship.com's screan caps I could swear I saw the unrated's title card in the cinema. Maybe I'm wrong its been a while. Still very confusing.
