You read my mind...thanx.....Fixed

On titles mostly shot on film with very little digital work, i was thinking of adding those.
But i think also that would be opening pandora's box, with endless questions about this and that film filling up the thread

Or do u need the 4K player and 70inch T.V? Cause i heard that the 4K even being played on a normal player and tv its a little different. Also 4K players make regular blus look better.

Why not just LIST the feet/resolution (4K, 30" screen, you should be xx feet away, etc)?

no, a lot of us like trolling around on various movie/home video websites and just @#$ch and complain about little things left and right...

the technical crap is interesting but after awhile it becomes redundant and I try to tune it out.

Especially when most people on here don't even know what they're talking about and just regurgitating what they heard from someone else.

Not really. I have a 55" TV...so I would have to sit roughly 4 feet from my TV to see the benefit of 4K.

It took me all of 5 seconds to figure this out.

Dub, as for me, I’ll refrain from redundant “technical crap” for a moment, especially since I spent so much time this morning typing up a post with regards to ACES workflow on the '4K movies' thread.

Give me several minutes to hunt down some more meaningful links.

So where do you get your info? Divine inspiration? We all get our info from someone else then regurgitate.

Many people want t o learn and the way to learn is through discussion so your point is quite silly.

This thread is clearly titled a technical thread, so why be here?

Everything that has ever been learned or said is merely a variation on the original caveman's first "ugh".
