I remember seeing this on tv as a kid and loved it. As time went on, I forgot about it. This will make a nice addition to my BD collection.

I own the German Blu-ray because I´m German and the picture quality is good.
The audio interview with Bronson and Marvin is awesome.

I'm glad to see this movie on Blu-ray and I applaud Shout. I wonder why Shout hasn't listed it on their site yet.

funny how Bronson went from a 'Death Wish' in 1974. to a 'Death Hunt' in 1981 as well as a 'Death Wish II' in 1982.

It's being released by Timeless Media, a label Shout owns.

It is a great release... two commentary tracks and an interview with Al Ruddy.
These are the extras that didn't make it onto our DVD release becuase Fox wanted to review them before we released the disc and there was no time left to to that.

This is a great action film. A must own for me. There was no follow up on the audio interviews with Bronson & Marvin from the German release. I assume they won't make it to the region 1 then? Also,there is a cool slide show online from a production assistant that worked on the film.

Don't think I've ever bought a Blu-ray from Shout Factory before and was wondering something. Do their releases usually come with slipcase covers?

only on "collector's editions" and I don't think that applies for DEATH HUNT...
