Question Scratch on Box Set

Ok, I know it shouldn't be a big deal. But everytime I take a look at it, it disturbs me. It was my own fault, anyway, when I tried to open the seal with scissors. Now, how do you guys suggest to fix this?

Oh, and I also dislike that kind of material that allow to leave your fingerprints.

That might not even cover shipping from where he lives.

It kind of looks like Sly is peeking over at those scratches too.

Return it for a new one, I've done it before at Best Buy.

As for the box, I would also suggest a return, but since it most likely was shipped to you, I doubt that would be any good. If you are really freaking out about it, I suggest getting a new one and selling that one off. If it's not that big a deal, then put some sharpie on it or something.

Sorry!

It took me 7 minutes to type this sentence.

Calculated using TheHighRoller Time

I suggest finding a dark blue marker of similar colour and trying to camouflage the scratches. Given your geographical location, return/exchange is even more risky in getting a new one sent to you.

I'd say, don't use a scissor next time. And put on gloves before you touch it.

Get used to it, because chances are you'll get a few more like that in the future. Can't really be avoided in the long run, since it's mass produced and all that.

You could try returning it, claiming it was damaged when you got it.
You could see if anyone has an empty box for sale on ebay, it rarely happens but those who deal in slipcovers might be able to help.
You could look on the 'net for a good scan of the box or some other artwork you like, print it onto photo grade paper and stick it on the front.

I use slice all shrink wrap open with an X-Acto knife. When it comes to slipcovers or slipboxes cutting around where the discs are removed means the shrink wrap can be left on the box or cover for some protection.

The finger prints will wipe off with a dry cloth. As to the other matter you'll just have to chalk it down to experience and not stick a scissors into the front of the box in future. If there was a sticker on the shrink wrap then I'd cover the holes with that but be mindful that if you remove the sticker it might take a bit of cover with it.

Many collectors have grown something similar to Jesus' coke-nail in The Big Lebowski. It ensures stress free cutting of shrink-wrap. As well as providing a receptacle for tiny bowls of soup.

I forgot to mention that I am currently en route to Jupiter via the Discovery One, so time tends to go slower here since. Would anyone like high resolution pictures? I'll ask HAL...

It will probably take an hour to send your way though.

I wonder what Einstein would think of BDFG taking caps and making user custom-made demotivational posters.
