I never go out of my way for slips, but that really does look great. I may have to look into finding one for a good price. There's nothing else extra on the Target edition right? Just the slip?

So don't laugh but I actually read a book on when the most people are on and off of eBay lol. I learned that during the working hours, not a lot of people are on and since my MacBook is connected to me all day, I look for auctions that are ending and other deals. This auction for Black Swan ended at lunchtime. Other deals I picked up were from me scanning eBay at all hours at night. I just one an auction for Side Effects, 7 bucks shipped with slip brand new. Again, I was the only one that bid lol. And yes, I am obsessed now

Now I may be wrong but the target edition comes in a clear case with 3 disks, while the standard one comes in a blu case with only 2 disks. And I do agree with you, usually I don't go out of my way but the auction was about to end with no bidders and I was like what the hell lol

I collect digibooks so I applaud your decision to get the gorgeous Exorcist one. But its being re-released this Halloween for the 40th anniversary, just so you know. I hope you dont mind double dipping, if you're the type of person to do so for more extras.

Well, as a murder mystery and as a movie in general, it's got very little merit. It's got a paper-thin "plot" executed by some pretty bad actors and bad effects.

However, it does have some things going for it which I think give it some good entertainment value.

For one thing, Vinegar Syndrome did a real nice job on the Blu-ray. It looks terrific.

And, for somebody like me who is now on the bad side of 50 years old, I get a kick out of this style of old school exploitation. There's a good share of nudity from the days before all young actresses were surgically enhanced. So this film has a distinct look the likes of which we will never see again.

It's very much an acquired taste. I like oddities and I have a strong sense of nostalgia for the '60's and 70's so I enjoyed it.

But anybody looking for some taught, forgotten mystery movie may be disappointed.
