Here is my DC collection.

This looks great!! But you need to get the play.com version of TIH (the landscape version). It goes along with the rest

Not a fan of the horizontal steels. Once I get the comic version of Hulk it will look better with both of them flanking the rest.

Pleasant birthday surprise from my wife. I came home from work to find she had arranged my most recent purchases in our display cabinet. I'll swap out some since these are not the best in my collection but she didn't know that.

I'll probably find more storage display once we have a dedicated home theater room.

Thanks. She's definitely a keeper. She even researched how to display Steels on this very site without me knowing.

I open them and stand them up on a shelf. I only have room for 12 though.

Just picked these up from a local trophy emporium.
They're made from black Polystone and are uber shiny.
They hold a Steelbook perfectly, even T2 with its slipcase. They have rubber feet and look ultra sexy. Only cost me Ł3.50 each. The guy said that he can even arrange engraving if I so choose.

^^^

They are nice, but at over $5 USD each that is a little pricey for me.

Spotted this shelving unit in a local thrift store. Solid pine heavy as f@ck and solid as a rock. Holds about 200 Steelbooks in 3 shelves plus a top shelf for forward displaying prime Steelbooks. Will sand it down and paint in white before bolting it to my wall. Forgive my drying wall paint.

Update
Currently bidding on a pine 5 shelf DVD unit made that matches the shelf unit above. It will hold the balance of my Steelbooks and probably my amarays as well.

Here is some of my collection.

The SB's are totally lost in the rest.

Any ideas guys. I would like to get them out of the main shelves and on their own. Not a lot of space tho. Check out my gallery.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Take a look at my idea. This is a magnetic knife holder in our kitchen.

I'm thinking of installing some on a wall in the HT and then the SB's just stick to the holder.

Started my Steelbook wall last night. Not finished. I got 8 of these magnetic knife holders. They fit this wall like they were custom made. Fit to the mm. Will post more photo's when completely finished.

Doe's anyone know if magnetism will effect a blu-ray?

Only got the first two up last night.

Steelbooks on.

Closeup.

I actually really like how ingenious that idea to use magnetic knife holders was

Can't say about the effect of magnets on steelbooks though and guess you'll have to really be the first 'guinea pig' to run the experiment. Personally, i'd prefer a shadow case like I saw on here ages back, but your solution is very low cost and looks good.

I just hope that those steelbooks don't fall off

Have mine side by side, have all opened, but once I've got one in my hands, remove the orig. wrapping, remove the discs and place them in another disc protective book, protect the case with a protective plastic sleeve.

Magnets wouldn't affect Blu-ray discs as they are optical, not magnetic.

I'd be more worried about the effect of the magnets having on the steel book case itself though..
