Are Returns and Forever still cut in the UK on Blu-ray? And don't the UK editions lose the commentaries also? That's what's keeping me from ordering these.

Only the DVD for Batman Returns was cut, that's what caused the commentary to be dropped because it would have been out of synch. The Blu-ray is unaffected.

Yep. When the Special Edition DVDs came along, cuts were waived to Forever but the aerosol cans scene in Returns was still censored, resulting in Warner Bros. dropping the commentary from the UK release (which pissed a lot of people off because it was still listed on the back cover). However, the Blu-ray release was uncut and also restored Burton's audio commentary.

Ordered this from Tesco Direct by using a voucher that gave me £10 off a £50 spend, so when ordering The Last of Us I slipped this in since I would basically be getting it for free. Came today to my shock, I completely forgot I ordered it

I'm glad I didn't buy batman and batman returns... I almost did until I saw the u.k. was releasing them and I had a gut feeling they would be better... mine shipped this morning, I'm looking forward to getting rid of my anthology set now
