Well seeing as how this is a comarison between True Blood, do you really think there is more sex in this than True Blood?

I just think the sex belongs in the True Blood episodes more... if that makes any sense. I haven't seen the latest season which I think just throws in more sex where it doesn't really belong.... (Judging from the pilot that I did see.)

I guess GoT is really good... it's got a lot of fans and such.... I don't really get into it. Looks like Lord of the Rings meets porn to me.

I strongly disagree.

I'm about as far from a fan of Lord of the Rings and the entire fantasy genre as one can get, yet I love Game of Thrones. Excellent writing, characters, and a great story. Sure there's a fair amount of sex, but it rarely seems as excessive or as forced into the story as it often does on True Blood.

But of course, to each their own.

Game of thrones is probably a bit more compelling and impressive though.

Both are tremendous fun

True Blood is the least consistent vampire show I've watched. But there are some great moments. Enough that I'm going to miss it when it's gone.

GOT benefits from having a pretty clear idea of where it's going with it's story and characters. Part of why it's among the best shows out there.

Looking at the results of this poll, I have to wonder how TB became such a huge hit. The high ratings is what got me into watching TB in the first place.

It's a guilty pleasure show, and people enjoy those. Plus, it's HBO's premiere show during the summer. It's not competing with Game of Thrones in the ratings, and it's also not competing with much of anything on most other networks during that time. This summer it will get its first real completion with Dexter's final season starting up in late June.

But I'm surprised that anyone would have thought this poll would have turned out differently. They're both enjoyable shoes, but Game of Thrones is on a completely different level than True Blood.

I disagree with this. If you have to feel guilty about enjoying something, you care too much about other peoples' opinions.

I may care what something thinks about something more important, but I couldn't give a sh__ what someone else thinks of my TV tastes.

TB is still a good show, but Season 3 was it's peak imho.
