It's the DVD version, and that was from Futureshop.

It's a scan of an ad. The colors are really nice. I guess I just prefer a minimalist design.

maybe without the gold frame though, but even with I'd take it over the cheap looking version we currently have

same. Looks classier IMO too
slapping loads of character faces on a steel usually cheapens them if not done right

Hadn't spotted this thread before. Preordered! Very excited for this it was one of my most anticipated blurays, glad to see it getting the steelbook treatment and I love the artwork, all Disney should have bright artwork IMO and definitely not minimalistic

This. Zavvi have done very well on all Disney steels so far. As soon as I saw a Jungle Book steel available from Zavvi I pre-ordered.

It's very telling that this and The Little Mermaid are still up for pre-order. They might sell out eventually but Zavvi's pricing here has really driven down the sell rate on these Disney Steelbooks. I realize there was a larger print run too but Aladdin sold out in barely a day and a half. After over a week of exposure if people could actually stomach the price these two pre-orders should have been gone already.

Heck, even Tron and The Rocketeer sold out faster than these.

It is Disney so there is an almost 100% chance it will be.

apparently there's a 10k run for TLM and TJB. So combined with the high price, it would easily explain why they are still easily available
