3 hours and 23 minutes later...

Yes, this movie is great. And my eldest child (7 and a video game fan) really likes it as well.

Are you looking forward to the re-boot? I hope they go more fantasy than realism, but I know they won't...

I thought that movie was so cool when I was a kid. A real treat watching the characters in real life, in the realm of movies. I watched most of it years ago, and it doesn't hold up that well - especially in the graphics.

But you can not deny that the theme song is Klassic!

With this and Resident Evil, I believe that Paul W.S. Anderson has proven himself as the best man for the job when it comes to video game adaptations.

Unless any Uwe Boll fans want to argue the point?

A big fan of this as a kid as well as the sequel... at one point in my life they were the greatest things since dunkaroos! lol

I would like to watch the first one again since I don't even remember the last time I watched it, as for the sequel... I saw clips of it a while back on youtube and well... let's just leave that there lol

And this reboot you speak of... is it looking to be like the mini-series they did recently?

I believe it was commissioned as a result of the mini-series, and will be worked on by the same crew. So, yes, maybe?

I googled it. There's news on the development, but no release date that I could find, sorry.

The mini-series I thought was alright in a fan-made kind of way. I can't see any movie being half as good as what they did for the rebooted video game. EXCELLENT!

I consider Event Horizon and Shyamalan' Signs to be the scariest movies I have ever seen in my life.

They both make me think of death and dread for the whole runtime, and I get really uneasy. Brilliant!

Agreed!

As far as Video Game adaptations go, this is superb. It still stands up as a very watchable movie, but really shows it's age as a 90's action/fantasy movie.

Here is a BTS video.

And many pics. Enjoy!

It's out. You're just looking for it in the wrong video store. It's in the one with the curtains at the door...
