netflix has the disc with all 3 HBO undercovers on it...the 3rd is basically a rough rehash of the first two. All the interviews were done years apart, but apparently he didn't like the 3rd guy. So it's a lot shorter.

To anyone who has played Dead Rising, does Michael Shannon remind you of Frank West a little in this? At least on the cover? I've never seen the film itself.

No, that is Chris Evans' character who is superb in this.

It might be considered a spoiler, although I don't think it is one but in regards to Franco being on the cover/featuring in the marketing:

[Show spoiler]His character is in the film for less than 5 minutes

I'm not happy with the cover one bit. They should have used the theatrical artwork.

I have just come to expect mediocre artwork on all non-collector's edition/Criterion packaging now. Maybe the names catch some people's eyes on the rack and they discover the film which is a good thing.

Pretty interested in it since its true crime like Get The Irishman. There are DVDs out on the real Iceman including interviews with him. Blockbuster at Home has them so if you have that or maybe NetFlix disc and are interested in the real hitman, those are available.

Ala Steven Segall in Executive Decision....best part of that movie in my opinion

[Show spoiler]I usually do too and I like Franco in general but I thought his appearance was more of a distraction. The scene is pretty necessary to glean insight in to the character I just thought it could have been handled better.

One of my few, minor quibbles with a film I think is quite good.

Very excited to see the film, I haven't seen a trailer, but that cast seems great.
I'm a big Franco fan, but I guess he's hardly in the film, here's to hoping Target has it for $10 the week of release.

This suffered from a absolute shit limited release. I have been trying like hell to see it and now I guess a few extra months wait are in order.

Richard Kuklinski has been a subject of great interest to me through the last 5 years or so. Was always hoping to see Scorsese take a stab at him (no pun intended) but based on the fact Scorsese will take on "I Hear You Paint Houses" I will continue to bottle my glee that I finally get to see this.

The movie never played nowhere near me. It looked good from the trailers. After I seen take shelter, premium rush and man of steel, I'm starting to like Michael Shannon.

To those who have the seen the movie, what are some movies you'd say it's akin to?

I'm really interested in it, but with so many good movies coming out in September & October, I'm trying to limit my purchases this upcoming week.
