Which color timing will be included is the pertinent question.

"35th Anniversary?", cries Jamie Lee Curtis as she eats her Activia.

Eh. Color me skeptical for something really worth double dipping. Probably just the stupid tv edit, some new interviews, and a new featurette or something.

I'm so glad I didn't buy this yet. I've been looking for a really good deal on it, and almost pulled the trigger a few times recently.

Sigh.

Just another sign of what you get on Fakebook. I won't even click on this link. I hope the Cundey approved transfer from the THX special addition several years back will finally make the Blu-ray release. Amen?

I love how people complain about having to rebuy it over and over again. It's not like Anchor Bay forced anyone to do it. People just love to complain.

I have over 10 versions myself as I love the film, so I will of course be picking this one up.

I waited until like a month ago because it got to the stage where this supposed 35th anniversary edition was looking more and more like a fans dream and nothing official. I can't be too angry. I got it for like $9 shipped. I won't sell it until I actually have this release.

I don't think I've even seen this Cundey approved transfer so if that's used, that'll be interesting.

We'll have to see what 'greatest version' means technically, but its inclusion does seem to pretty much confirm a new transfer. Now, could that be/include the original color timed version? That is the main question. Still, the new 4k transfer regardless will be welcome news, and adding the Halloween Inside Story doc in HD along with perhaps a new commentary would be nice pluses.
