Killer's Kiss is one of the special features.
How is Killer's Kiss?

I'm too lazy to look up the runtime but it's actually pretty good.

Earlier films offered as supplements are often little more than curiosities. They're interesting glimpses into a filmmaker but not very good in their own right. Killer's Kiss is shaky but it stands on its own surprisingly well.

The quality is pretty decent too. All the audio was recorded post-production so there are some synch issues that just can't be adjusted away but other than that it's fine.

It's a very nice bonus overall.

Thanks. I looked up the run time and it is slightly over 1 hour. Not bad!

Ok I just bought that and The Man Who Knew Too Much

No more! I am done. I swear

I'm fond of Killer's Kiss. The story isn't anything special, but it's got some gorgeous B&W cinematography of 1950s NYC. Also it's a huge leap in quality from Kubrick's previous feature, Fear and Desire.

On a different note, it looks like I've won a copy of Richard III from DVD Beaver! That's one I won't have to buy from B&N next sale! Incidentally, I received a copy of Fat Girl from them 2 years ago today.

Hey, heres a question for you: how exactly do you enter these contests? I always email in the answers (via my gmail account) and have joined their group but can never tell if I'm doing it right.

It also says that he posts the number of people who got the answer right somewhere, also wanted to know where that is?

Any opinions on Vanya on 42nd Street?

(I know I shouldn't, but I am very tempted to make one more order while the prices are so good...)

Placed my one and only order for this sale!

Got a copy of The Thin Red Line for my dad for his birthday and ordered myself copies of Jubal and Ministry Of Fear, both of those being blind buys.
Was gonna order a copy of 1900 too but it appears that the price has jumped back up

I love the film and its a solid disc with an interesting essay, even if the disc itself is lighter on extras than I'd like. I'd only really recommend, though, if you're a fan of stage plays and dialogue-heavy material.

Nice haul, Richard III looks promising. Might be my next blind buy.

If you like theater..yes! It's very well written and movingly acted.

Be aware that it is essentially a rehearsal session we are watching, so each time they take a break, it can be jarring. But I got so lost in the emotions that at times I forgot I was watching a rehearsal.

If you liked My Dinner with Andre, you will most likely get something out of fhis film.

DONE! No tax was added so with shipping and handling it came to 11.94, probably even CHEAPER than if I had bought directly from amazon.
Thanks for pointing that out!

I'm 38 years old and i love old Jack Nicholson films. My bro from High School keeps insisting on me getting Easy Rider (yeah i've never seen it). My question is how are the other Nicholson films in the America Lost and Found box set? The entire set will be a blind buy for me and seeing how its such a good price right now im just not sure whether to get it or just get the single release of Easy Rider non criterion. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

Five Easy Pieces is my favorite old Jack Nicholson film, and it is included in the America Lost and Found box set.

Easy Rider and Five Easy Pieces are both five-star masterpieces, and they look amazing on the Criterion Blu-rays. The extras are fun to go through as well.

The King of Marvin Gardens is not quite in the same league as Easy Rider and Five Easy Pieces, but it is almost as good, and there's quite a lot to enjoy.

You also see Jack Nicholson for a split second in the first film, Head.

You also get to see one of Jack Nicholson's directorial debut, the 1971 film, Drive, He Said. It's a solid film in its own right.
