Oh man he called them DuDs. It's funny because at first you think he just typed DVD, but then you realize he's mocking the former competitor. What a knee slapper! You should write for Family Circus or Ziggy. So clever.

WOW, why so hostile. Hes talking about etiquette. So lets discuss it. Your a noob and should politely point things out to other members. I, along with many others, have misposted before and its easily corrected with a short quick note to a moderator. Instead, you engage in a War of words with an established member within his thread. Its like H-O-R-S-E in basketball you hit 3 in a row and someone runs off with the ball breaking your flow. Get the idea.

the store selection might have sucked but i would have to politely disagree that what HD DVD had to offer in the title range sucked there was a quite a few good titles on hd dvd that i look forward to buying on blu ray.

but prehaps im reading your post wrong?

By the way I bought a HD DVD player for cheap that came with 9 free movies a lil while back and have bought over 100 HD DVDs at excellent prices since. I don't think I have added a single bluray to my collection of 70+ BDs because there hasn't been a single sale. No more BOGO means no more BDs for me. I'm currently ordering imports now for cheap. This CC sale should be the last of the brick and mortar sales but i'll be happily buyin HD DVDs to add to my high def library for under $10 a piece for quite awhile.

I think you represent a slim few, I am sure people are happy to get rid of their hddvd stuff for something and thanks to people like you their dreams come true

I have picked up a few at CC, but I am ebaying them as I ship internationally. With shipping there I am still making 5-6 bucks a HDDVD. Then again they may have not got the press release

I was at CC on Monday picking up a headset for the PS3 and I saw that bin. %50 off. Then I was looking at the Blu-Ray section when this guy came up to me and asked me if I knew where the HD-DVD's were. I showed him the bin. I'm sure he knew that the format was dead.

If I had a HD-DVD player, I probably would have picked a couple of those titles. They had the Matrix trilogy, although I didn't see a price. I would have been all over that.

people all over the HD DVD forums and deals r buying them up. Oh ya and Best Buy is giving everyone that bought an HD DVD player a $50 gift card. I'm going to use that to buy a PS3 game. So I got my HD DVD player for under $100 with 9 free high def movies.

Matrix was 80 and 100 so its not even worth it for purple people because V for Vendetta was announced along with Batman, which means Matrix will follow suit very soon. This summer probably. I wanted to pick up Heroes, but they didnt have any, and it would have been 100, in 2 weeks ill be able to get it for like 20 online
