Yeah, you can find this movie in the $7.88 bin at Walmart now. I too find the movie and acting very tiresome and tedious. And Thomas Beckett and his murder at Canterbury Cathedral is one of my most favorite topics.

If there is any classic movie in the top 100 that need's a modern remake-this is in the top 5. I think a modern take and direction of the original would bring this story more to life.

Also, as in terms of PQ, Beckett is marginally better than the dvd.
