I think the UV versions are in 1.78:1 rather than 2.35:1. I read a consumers comment on it somewhere. It makes sense, because most Harry Potter movies were shot in Full Aperture (1.33:1).
I came across Deathly Hallows Part 2 in cable- It was Open-matte 1.78:1, not cropped. And it looked wonderful, in terms of the framing. The added height made the film look more epic and beautiful.
I wish I could get hold of such a copy!
