I refuse to go over 20$ unless it's a spur of the moment purchase. I'll actually hunt down movies in a few stores, yesterday I went to 3 different walmarts looking for Run Lola Run, none of them had it, so gave up.

With the gas you spent drivin around, you could have bought it a BB or CC and ended up spendin the same.....

I would say that most of my collection was bought for a reduced price. They're all new. Only very few have I paid $27.95. That's the most I would ever pay and I better love the movie or I'll just wait for it to go down to $19.99. I think both Blade Runner and Close Encounters, both special editions didn't even run me more than $27.95. I got a good deal on Encounters from Amazon.com.

I usually have no hesitation on discs below $25, but anything above requires some thought.

+1 I'm exactly the same way. I do tend to be a bit more patient than I used to be, sometimes waiting a few weeks after the release to find it on eBay cheaper. I've purchased 60 - 70% of my BD's there, mostly for $15 - $22. The rest I buy from or trade with you fine folks.
