Wake Wood is actually pretty decent, I enjoyed it. The Resident however...awful one of the worst Hammer films.

That's an extremely detailed and all-encompassing summary, I really hope Hammer takes a look.

^Brides of..., hopefully? Would also be very interested in Frankenstein must be Destroyed.
And are there some other 2nd tier (meaning, not starring Cushing or Lee) movies that are really worth? Plague of The Zombies was a very nice previously unheard movie for me. I can also think of The Damned as a good Hammer BD candidate. And what about that Captain Kronos film? Is it good?

I thought Hammer had the full film on their channel but I couldn't find it.

FCW is genuinely one of my favorite Hammer films.
Peter Cushing and Thorley Walters are great together.

Sa-weet. Don't the Studio Canal releases come out in threes? What are the other two!?

So apparently the US will be getting their own Hammer releases these coming months... If they end up superior to the UK releases i'll be a bit jealous.

No specific Blu-ray plans as of yet, and I wouldn't worry yourself too much. I'll continue to import from the UK until I see them released and reviewed, otherwise it's vaporware.

Get on with 1959's The Mummy already! It's the best mummy flick ever.

^Not in mine eye. It was alright, and I am a big Cushing-Lee fan, but not a patch on the Karloff movie.

Can anyone help me with a few slips? I'm going nuts because I have ordered Rasputin The Mad Monk and The Devil Rides Out a couple of times and Amazon UK keeps sending me dinged up slipcovers.

If anyone has mint copies of Rasputin The Mad Monk, The Devil Rides Out and also Cross Of Iron, I very much want to talk with you to buy them. Thanks.

Good to see at least some of these classics coming to bluray. I'm not overly concerned about the CGI as I don't really remember them scene for scene to make it noticeable to me.

Original post have been updated.

I also see that Dracula: Prince of Darkness is scheduled for release in America. Since it seems that Studio Canal have stopped distributing Hammer Horror films, I hope we will get to see more Hammer from America.

I don't think I have ever watched a Hammer film. May have back in the 80's but cannot recall.
