He is selling those newly released 4-movie collections for $40 each (the same ones that are regularly priced $20) along with the new Reel Hero steelbooks for $35 each (regular price $13 at Wal-Mart, on sale for $10 at BBY and AMZ). Also the new Die Hard five disc set he has a $75 BIN set (I think it's a regular price of $40 right?).

Maybe he got mad at me if that's the same guy. I went through my sent messages though and don't see his username so I'm not sure.

I was blocked from bidding by a seller once because I asked him what condition a slipcover was in. He never answered me, but I decided to bid anyway, and then I got the message when I tried to.

I agree wholeheartedly with Bruiser. Why waste your time and his just to call him out on prices you disagree with? Seems silly to me. I had a guy continuously harrassing me about something - he had no interest in buying anything and just kept saying he was going to report me to Ebay (even though I wasn't breaking any rules!) I blocked him immediately, and reported his messages to Ebay. The guy apparently just had nothing better to do. I've got probably 20 people blocked - I've been selling for many years, have 100% positive feedback, and usually don't have any issues. That may be because anyone that potentially seems like they're going to be a problem gets blocked. I'd rather not sell something at all than sell it, get an unfounded buyer complaint or harassment (i.e. messages 24 or 48 hours later asking WHERE IS MY ITEM?!) and face negative feedback and/or having to refund money and be out the item too. I also get a lot of out-of-country bidders for some reason, who will bid despite my listing always saying that I only sell and ship within the U.S. And I've had a lot of non-paying buyers over the years too. Gotta be careful on Ebay - lots of trash out there.

Uh, you can block bidders with non-US accts from bidding on your items.

Thanks, I grabbed one of each. It was weird, I tried to contact the seller to see if he would combine shipping, but he doesn't accept messages.

I ordered anyway and just asked if he would in the comments section of my order. Hopefully he does, $6 if ridiculous for media mail.

They make US accounts with the address of a package forwarding center located in the US. They live in other countries though. I've been charged for foreign paypal transfers, and have to follow their crazy shipping requests. It's a hassle.

I don't know about this....I can definitely understand if someone is harassing a seller, but in my case, I asked a question if the set being sold was an authentic US release set and not a bootleg version....if without getting an answer I get blocked by this seller, I am pretty certain now that he is indeed selling bootleg versions.

In any case, no harm done as now I know I shouldn't buy from him....by the way, a well established, 100% feedback seller...

I agree that your question was legitimate. My comment was more aimed towards a buyer repeatedly messaging a seller and telling him his prices are too high.
