I think I'll stop following this thread.
Everyday there are 100 new posts, with members trying to guess what's coming next, it gets boring and very frustating to read... almost irritating.

It's sad because I enjoy Shout's work very much, but if we could talk about the actual releases instead of this non-sense, it would be nice!

That is why my list is exclusive to those two companies.
My guesses are:
Cat People
Poltergeist III (HATED IT WITH A PASSION but it isn't on blu-ray in R1)
Night of the Demons
Shocker
The Serpent and the Rainbow
Village of the Damned

That's good. They say to never frustrate yourself for long periods of time. Long relaxing walks, conversing with a good friend or a doctor you trust, and making sure to limit your red meat intake should do wonders.

I'm just upset that Prom Night 2 doesn't look to be on the schedule. I thought it was better than the 1st and would buy it.

Isn't it enough that we want to see the company continue. Also, we all can't talk about how great the commentary on Prince of Darkness was? It hasn't been released yet. Also, you don't necessarily have to follow this thread. You can just stick with what is on Facebook.

Me too. Echo Bridge has it though... Here's hoping for a double feature blu of them. At least it'll be a bargain.

I think they will certainly be Collector's Editions, so presumably big-name films, like the Super Six from the previous Convention announcement.

I would bet that majority are Universal.
I think they are out of MGM Collector's Editions for this deal or they most likely would have announced them already. Maybe another Fox deal happened recently. I would think so. Phantom of the Paradise seems very likely.

The rest would probably be Universal, maybe this will also include films from a newer, larger, deal with another studio.

Although I kind of doubt another Fox deal, I would love a Scream! Phantom of the Paradise. They already have had contact with Graham and Finley (who sadly passed away last year), and Jessica Harper and Paul Williams have no objections to talking about it. The only real "living" holdout would be de Palma, who might be busy.

You're totally right!

And I'm totally aware that nobody gives a f*** about what I just said. I just wanted to say it. So I said it.

When I first started to follow this thread I didn't think it will end like what it is right now. Too bad I don't have Facebook.
I thought we would compare different versions of the movies that got a release (comparing cuts, DVDs and blu-rays or such), talking about the special features, about the movies themselves.
And not only hypothetic releases.
It's just sad and not very informative, that's all I'm saying, but keep up talking, who gives a damn about my own opinion afterall!
I just read every post since the thread was launched and I thought I would finally say something, but I shouldn't, you're right (and I'm not ironic at all! I mean what I say!)

One thing 'though is that I'm glad I pissed off Cmac by repeating that they needed to include english subs in their releases 'cause it's what they do since then and I'm really grateful to Shout Factory for that!!!

You don't have to have a Facebook page to look at their's. It isn't private like Cliff's. I don't have a Facebook either and I check it at least once a week.

They could have made another MGM deal, so you never know.
While it is a presumed "no", I don't think it can be completely ruled out since the comment is a bit dated. Nothing may have changed, but for all we know it has.

I just sort of doubt it considering their supply of films to last "the 1st quarter of 2014." I'm happy to be wrong, I really am. I'm happy to just see the company expand.

Please don't be a MOD blu-ray like Greystoke or Hudsucker Proxy!!!
I swear they were waiting for Prince of Darkness to finish off the Apocalypse Trilogy.

Yes!!!! I hope some decent special features but not expecting much. Anyway this is great, hopefully Scream can close this out with Village of the Damned and Vampires and maybe Memoirs of An Invisible Man.

Awesome news!

Now we don't have to hear people keep asking Shout!/Scream! for it anymore.

If I remember right the DVD had some extras?

Memoirs is Warner.
Vampires is Sony. Twilight Time is a possibility. So is Mill Creek. Maybe paired with Vampires: Los Muetros. Who knows, Sony might release it on their own.

If there are collectors editions to be had for MGM - Pumpkinhead would be one if the ever do release it...and I think Without Warning should be a DVD Blu Ray combo for starters so both formats are included, since it hasn't had a real USA release on any disc...
Nice to see In the Mouth of Madness announced One more snapper case going bye bye !!
