Suits Season 2 UV

Did anyone else not get a copy inside there set? I bought brand new off ebay and there was no insert. It had the UV sticker on the front but the only insert was promoting the new season and Convert Affairs.

If it's important enough to you, you can try contacting the seller or Universal about it and see if either of them can get you a UV code, as I'm pretty sure it came with one.

Same here. I just opened mine from EBay and only have the ad insert.

You should PM bigt7117 and see you both bought from the same seller on eBay. If it is the same seller they could have opened the package and taken the digital copy code out and resealed the package. I am not accusing any eBay seller of doing that. I don't think Universal Studio's will help you with missing inserts because you didn't buy them from a major retailer. When I had a missing insert from Ted they wanted pictures of the front and back of case and the receipt from where I bought it.

That was 1st thought and did. The seller claimed he wasn't even aware of a digital copy. The package wasn't messed and I did contact the NBC site listed on the UV sticker. Still waiting to hear back from them.

I can tell you there are a lot of counterfeit tv shows sold on ebay. I mean a LOT and when that happens, you often get either a movie with no UV code in it or with a UV code that has already been redeemed (because the counterfeit person used one code for every set).

I personally have experienced this with Chuck season 5, Smash season 1 and Copper S1. When you look closely at the packaging you can usually see a difference in the quality of the printing on the cover + often a different case is used either in style (or sometimes even a different color case!). Discs often have small scratches or smudge type marks on the back side too when you take counterfeits out of the case.

I have reported more than one seller to ebay for selling counterfeit tv shows in particular and reported the worst offender to the FBI for video piracy. IF the seller knows the item they have sold you is counterfeit, they most likely will offer you pretty much an instant refund with no return of the product required the moment you mention the word "counterfeit" because of course they hope you won't report them that way.

I have pretty much stopped buying tv sets on ebay except from sellers that I already know and trust. Just a heads up....

PS - I had looked on ebay myself at Suits season 2 about a week ago and could tell from the photos that well over 50% were counterfeit (had to do with packaging vs the authentic version). I found exactly 3 sets that I could confirm from photos were genuine out of the entire lot.

Now there may have been others that are real that used a stock photo to list, so can't say about those. I can tell you there is a stock photo for the counterfeit Suits s2 as well and when I see that one, I know for sure it's fake.

Best advice is buy just the code from somebody or buy the dvd set from a retailer so you know it's not a fake. I would avoid ebay almost entirely for dvd tv seasons for sure and even for a handful of Blu-ray tv seasons as well.

It took 8 days but Universal sent me a new code.

Just purchased Suits season 1, 2, and 3 off of ebay and all were missing the UV code sheets. They all look legit down to the slipcovers but, when you put the dvd in the computer and run something like DVD decrypter you find they are all single layer, support all region codes and have no protection.

I knew there was a reason why I stayed away from purchasing DVDs and Blu-rays on ebay. All I can say the fakes are getting really good

I don't buy tv seasons anymore from ebay too been burned too many times to take another chance. I agree the fakes are getting good hence why i am staying away from ebay - i mean sure most of the sellers offer refunds easily when they know they are fakes BUT you will find that one seller that either doesn't know or doesn't care then you have to dispute and wait

Also, i have noticed some bootlegs making there way into walmart and bestbuy - one seller who sold me a bootleg actually told me to a) do a no receipt return at walmart if not opened b) if opened to buy a physical copy and return the opened copy to bestbuy, walmart, or target talk about shadey and illegal I did my part and reported him but alas he is still selling and has over 98% feedack allbeit with 6 revisions

EDIT: Heck even the Game/DVD exchange stores have bootlegs - they had a Lost Blu Ray set (complete series) looked nothing like the oiginal and they were selling it for 99.99 - i told them it was a fake yet they did nothing
