My problem is that this is the Criterion thread, and a large amount of the people who pop in here daily are only interested in Wes anderson and the one movie they haven't released. Nevermind any of the other classics or important films. It may be a pretentious stance, but it's annoying nonetheless.

Well he is a unique, one-of-a-kind director and he's one of the few directors with at least 5 movies on Criterion (4 on Blu ray) so you better get used to it. Besides, I looked more than 10 pages back and didn't see ONE post about a Wes Anderson film so I don't know what you're moaning and groaning about.

It gets old when people rip on Anderson...I'm not a fan of a large amount of Criterion releases, but don't feel the need the rip on others who DO like them. It's an attitude I wish others would take...
