I used to use Movietyme for my region 1 dvd needs back in the day, as they were really cheap but their prices for blurays are steep.
Amazon are better but their 3d blus are still pricey. Are there any better sites that have cheap US blurays? |

Helpful.
![]() I'm sure the OP can find sites that sell US blu-rays. Doesn't tell him which ones are cheaper or faster or more reliable or avoid VAT or anything like that. For a quicker answer it makes sense to ask a group of like-minded individuals on a forum like this. For the OP, it's a long thread now but this questions was asked in this thread when Planet Axel went bust - might be worth scanning through the beginning of it for the initial suggestions and the last couple of pages for any recent points about the sites that people have made. It's always worth checking amazon.co.uk for import titles as all. The sellers All Your Music and moviemars-usa are both very good for offering decent prices. Bottom line is you've got to do the leg work, there's no point reccommending any particular supplier e.g. Amazon.com, Deep Discount, Barnes & Noble and ImportCD, as at any one time they are running different sales and promotions; this week Amazon.com might be the cheapest for a particular Blu-ray, next week it could be ImportCD. |

Play nice children.
Whatever you do Craig666 do not use blubastard. Barnes & Noble are good and you avoid customs fees. Bluraysforeveryone you avoid customs fees aswell. Importcds have some good prices As someone said before allyourmusic and moviemars are good. Checking eBay is great aswell, you get some helpful sellers in the US that'll help you avoid customs fees. |

you're a ****ing great help, wes.
to echo the other poster's statement, allyourmusic on amazon marketplace are usually great for older titles. movietyme are too expensive now, even with their £1.50 off coupons. dvdworldusa get you the titles very early but you pay a premium. Last edited by darrenthebear; 06-18-2013 at 06:23 PM. |

They are very hit and miss, last July I ordered 2 BDs that totalled about £28 but was hit with a £12 charge but in December I ordered £50 worth of DVDs and they got through fine and only last month I ordered £70 worth of BDs and they also got through untouched.
Other sites I can add to the list are Deepdiscount and DVDExpress247. |
