I really hope they do get Blu-ray releases over here eventually.

Saying that, I have bought alot of Blu-rays from Germany, so in the event of a price reduction...I may have to get these

I always use Amazon.de (Germany).

Everything is exactly the same as Amazon UK, and if you have any difficulty with anything regarding language, just google translate it

Amazon Germany are always very quick regarding delivery's, most stuff I order from them takes no more than 3 days to arrive.

Not sure if they will ever see the light of day in the UK, especially Childs Play 3, as these movies were brought up in the James Bulger case although there was no proven link

It took years for Child's Play 3 to get a retail VHS release.

It was planned for a few months after the rental release (as per standard) but we all know what happened. Having said that, a few did get released. I worked for Blockbuster and we got 1 copy in for retail in a small box with a light blue spine (same as the rental version) with the Universal logo at the top and their then current 'film strip' picture at the bottom with the CIC logo on the back (I actually bought and still own it).

I can only assume Child's Play 2 would also have been released for retail VHS at the same time (a year and a half or so after the rental version) but I've never seen it personally with matching packaging.

They finally came out years later on VHS by Universal Home Entertainment (after the CIC split) and again on DVD in around 2002.
