I've had steelbooks from zavvi outlet and they've been in the padded box packages. Though two steelbooks despatched from zavvi.com last week turned up crappy cardboard envelopes so no idea what they're doing.

O thank God this isn't a Zavvi exclusive! I'm happy to wait as long as it takes for Amazon to list it. I'm resigned to ordering The Wicker Man from Zavvi but only because it's a thing of jaw-dropping beauty... Unless the exclusives revert to HMV sharpish I'll stop chasing steelbooks. I've never liked Zavvi.

But I digress. I gave up waiting for a UK release and imported the US blu-ray of Fight the Future a couple of years ago. It's one of my favourite films.

Amazon are dearer than the Sainsburys order and they won't even dispatch for release day unless you pay for it.

I use Sainsburys all the time and the delivery is not guaranteed launch date. I'd say its 70% on time, 25% late and 5% early.

For example I ordered all 5 series of breaking bad. 3 turned up on release date, 1 the day after and the last a week later. All 5 series were despatched on the same day.

Hansel and gretel turned up on saturday before launch.

My copy shipped today! I never owned these before, so I'm happy to add them to my collection. For £14.34/shipped($23), I'm quite happy!

My copy arrived today in crisp, mint condition! Looked like it just rolled off the steelbook presses! Nice embossed border and title. Artwork, obviously, is very basic, and wins me over on that "less is more" approach.
Fantastic release!
