Default Universal Classic Monsters: The Essential Collection [Blu-ray] Best Buy Exclusive?

Hello i recently bought a set of this from Best Buy but after looking at and finally opening it, it only has 6 films? I cant seem to find this particular version anywhere not even on amazon. Which films am i missing? Should i keep this set and buy the missing ones later? or look for the "main" 8-9? movie set. The only other edition i've seen is that Coffin set other than that this was the first time i've ever seen the monsters set anywhere near me. here are some pics:

(sorry if pics are huge)

that is strange.
you can buy the missing titles individually, so I would just keep it I guess.
you need Creature From the Black Lagoon and Phantom of the Opera.
also make sure Spanish Dracula is included on the Dracula disc.
if it's not then that might be a dealbreaker because I do not think that film is sold individually.

It's a BB exclusive different from the original box set, it came out the same day as the missing two movies did in stand alone release.

I'd rather this set as it has the best selection, and the packaging is better. If this goes down to $40 or less I'd likely get it.

I can see the packaging part but how does it have the best selection? It's missing two films that are in the other set.

Sorry, I should have wrote that better. I mean it has the best movies from that set. This is sort of similar to what Universal did with the Hitchcock Masterpiece and Essentials collections. They took (arguably) the best movies from the Masterpiece and put them in the Essentials. Of course with the Monsters sets the difference isn't as large, so it seems a little more pointless to do. They should have probably just released 2 volumes with 4 movies each if they were going to break them down further.

I have this same pack from Best Buy, I prefer it over the full essential collection. Recently watched CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON and I found it very boring. And THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA is in color, which makes it stand out from among the black & white collection.

This collection works very well for me.

Why not just do it yourself? You have the set and all the info handy.

Yeah it's hard for someone to do it unless they have the set with the exact info, it only takes a few minutes to submit the info.

This just is not worth it. Best Buy charges $75 for an incomplete set, when Amazon charges $65 for the complete set. It's a no brainer. Amazon is the REAL best buy.

Best Buy also charges $65.99 for the complete set. I'm pretty sure Amazon is actually matching them. And yes, that means Best Buy is selling their exclusive for more than they're selling the full set. Best Buy is in fact stupid.

Thanks for the response everyone. seeing as how best buy is over charging, I am glad I did not pay their asking price

When the set was first announced I thought PotO and CftBL to not fit in with others-one a color re-make and the other a '50s 3D film. Not titles that when you say "Classic Universal Horror" come to mind right away. Why not Werewolf of London? If, for no other reason, a variation of it's title is the name of a classic tune.
