In the May 2007 issue of Home Theater magazine on page 56 the Sony Playstation 3 received the 2007 “Product of the Year award”.
2007 Rave (Recognizing Audio/Video Excellence)

I love the comment after the Toshiba XA1 entry of how: "Blu-Ray is still trying to catch up to HD-DVD."

How much you think MS paid for that?

This is a yearly “Product of the year” award. Home Theater awards are awarded in May of every year for products that are way above the quality of other products in terms of picture and sound quality plus overall value.

great news! Nice to see a publication just cut through all the FUD and recognize the PS3 for the great piece of hardware that it is.
